Former bookstore cashier Cathy Garrett was operating the register in 1973 when the bookstore was located in COM 006 (Cav Central).

The JCCC bookstore moved to the newly built Student Center building.
During the Student Center remodel, the JCCC bookstore operated temporarily in its original location of COMS 006.

The bookstore moved to its current home in the Student Center building and has been happily serving the campus since.
