Retail Textbook Buyback
Credit textbooks adopted for the next semester will be bought back at up to 50% of the original purchase price. If the text will no longer be used at JCCC, or if quantities needed have been met, the current wholesale market value will be offered. The quality of the textbook(s) must meet bookstore standards (see buyback grading policy below). Books purchased as a set must be sold back as a set. Books containing software and/or validation codes, and workbooks or titles with perforated pages, may not be accepted. Fluid damaged textbooks will not be bought back. A valid photo i.d. is required - Student I.D or Driver's License.
Year-Round Wholesale Buyback
If you miss one of our end of semester campus buybacks, you may utilize the Online Buyback feature to request a quote from one of our textbook wholesalers. If you agree to their offered price, you may then register with them, and print out a free shipping label to send your books directly to the wholesaler. Otherwise, the next On-Campus Retail Buyback will be in December 7-21, 2009.
